Happy almost-New Year! Before we move into 2017, I want to say thank you to every single person who has read my blog over the past year. I am so grateful to have a space where I can share my thoughts and ideas with the world and that they are received with such positivity and enthusiasm. Starting this blog back in 2014 was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I never imagined how much it would change my life for the better.
I have received so many lovely emails, comments, and tweets over the past year that my heart feels full and happy knowing that my writing can have even the smallest impact on someone’s day. I wish I had the time and capacity to respond to everyone, but just know that I read every single message I receive and they are greatly appreciated!
To close out the end of the year, I thought I’d do a recap of The Blissful Mind in 2016 and share some of the highlights and most popular posts!
Highlights from 2016
1. In one year, The Blissful Mind received 1.6M pageviews. Whaaat?! That’s insane! For comparison, last year my blog received 175,000 pageviews. I have to give credit to Melyssa Griffin’s Pinfinite Growth course because so much of my blog traffic now comes from Pinterest. That course was worth every penny!
2. The beautiful Kayla Hollatz asked me to talk about self-care on her #createlounge podcast, and I feel like my street cred has gone up now that I can say I’ve been on a podcast!
3. I worked with some amazing brands such as Aura Cacia, Tazo Tea, and Spire who allowed me to start making some income from my blog this year! I think it’s incredible to find brands that align with my vision for The Blissful Mind, and I’m grateful for the opportunities that have come along!
