I’m not much of a New Year’s resolution person. There are just too many things I would like to accomplish, and trying to start them all in January would most likely cause me to spontaneously combust. Anyone else feel the same way?
Instead, I have a list of 20+ goals that I would like to accomplish at some point this year. Since there’s no way I’m going to be able to do all of them simultaneously, I’ve whittled the list down to the three that are the most important to me at this moment. Focusing on three means I have a greater chance of actually accomplishing them.
I believe that if you stick with something long enough, it becomes a habit. Once it becomes a habit, that’s when you can move on to other goals. Wooooo!
My Top Three Goals for January
1. Blogging. I love the quote, “Obvious to you is amazing to others.” My first goal is to write more posts for this blog and not doubt my ideas so much. From now on, I plan to post 2x per week (feel free to punch me if you find me slacking).
2. Yoga. I go through phases of absolutely loving yoga, but I want to be more consistent and practice twice a week. My ultimate goal is to gain enough strength to hold a handstand and scorpion pose. I can do both for about 3 seconds, but wouldn’t 30 seconds be totes impressive?
3. Travel. I dream of travel. I plan to explore as much as I can of this earth, including my own city. I am going to explore two new places per month, as well as save a portion of my paycheck for traveling-the-world funds.
What are your top three goals right now? Leave me a comment, I want to know! ;)

My goals are to consistently blog this year, continue going to physical therapy and doing my exercises until my back is normal again and I can comfortably ease back into working out, and also go back to school and finish it before year end!

These are wonderful goals! Thanks for sharing that quote “obvious to you is amazing to others”, I love it! I really want to focus on more movement this year. Yoga, dance, even walking/running. Here’s to a happy 2015 :)
Isn’t that such a great quote? :) Yay 2015!
